The Metrocrest Area Chamber will host its highly anticipated Women in Business Leadership Conference on April 29 at Venue Forty|50, bringing together an influential group of leaders, innovators, and professionals for a morning centered on leadership, growth, and forward-thinking ideas.

This year’s conference is anchored by a powerful and timely speaker lineup, headlined by Gillea Allison, President of D Magazine. As the leader of one of North Texas’ most recognized media organizations, Allison brings a high-level perspective on leadership, influence, and decision-making in a rapidly evolving business environment. Her experience guiding a major publication known for shaping regional conversations positions her as a must-hear voice for professionals looking to lead with clarity and impact.

Joining Allison is Holly Shipley, a leading voice on artificial intelligence and its real-world application in business. Shipley is known for translating complex AI concepts into practical strategies, equipping leaders with the tools to stay competitive and informed as technology continues to reshape industries.

Also taking the stage is Sherry Sutton, an expert in marketing and podcasting who helps individuals and organizations amplify their message and build meaningful engagement. Sutton’s approach focuses on turning ideas into influence, giving attendees actionable insight into growing their brand and voice.

The event will begin with networking at 8:00 a.m., followed by the program at 8:30 a.m., and will conclude at 12:00 p.m. at Venue Forty|50 in Addison.
