Take survey, participate in budget process

Posted

Your voice matters is the message City Hall wants all residents to hear.

Budgeting is important for all organizations, and the City of Farmers Branch is in the midst of its city budget season. As city staff and the Farmers Branch City Council set priorities for the 2025-2026 budget, which runs Oct. 1, 2025, to Sept. 30, 2026, they actively encourage all residents to participate and share their opinions.

The city created a budge survey to fund out what programs, services and projects are most important to residents and their neighborhoods. It covers everything from essential street repairs and public safety initiatives to parks and libraries. You can take the survey here, or go to the link in the QR code.

In addition, the city's annual Budget Town Hall is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at The Branch Connection, 14055 Dennis Lane.

"Their voice makes a real difference in this process," Christian Grisales, public information officer for the City of Farmers Branch, wrote in his message to the Branch Herald.
