Fans of one particular analog technology recently gathered together to celebrate Polaroid cameras and film.
The Instant Film Society hosted PolaCon 10 Sept. 26-28 at the Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studio in Denton.
Branch Herald photojournalist Adin Braswell, a senior at R.L. Turner High School, attended the event, which featured many different demos, workshops, photo walks and panel discussions, consisting of exploring the art of photography as well as the use of different types of film.
Dallas College Brookhaven Campus instructor Daniel Rodrigue co-founded the festival in 2016. Since then Polacon has grown into an annul meetup.
