Oktoberfest road closures begin Sept. 14 in Addison

Drivers traveling through Addison Circle should plan for road closures beginning Monday, Sept. 14, as Addison prepares for Oktoberfest, which runs Sept. 17-20.

Festival Way, portions of Addison Circle and the Town Hall parking lot will close first, with additional streets closing Thursday.

Some closures will remain in place through Monday, Sept. 21, while others are expected to reopen Sunday evening after festival guests and vendors have safely cleared the area.

Monday, September 14

Beginning at 8 a.m.:

• Festival Way from Addison Road to Quorum Drive will close.
• Addison Circle from Addison Road to Witt Place will close.
• Town Hall parking lot will close. Please use the Morris Avenue parking lot as identified on the closure map.

Festival Way, this section of Addison Circle and the Town Hall parking lot are expected to reopen by 5pm on Monday, Sept. 21.

Thursday, September 17

Beginning at 8 a.m.:

• Addison Circle from Witt Place to Beckert Park will close.
• Witt Place from south of the parking garage entrance/exit to Addison Circle will close.

These streets are expected to reopen by 10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, or as soon as vendor loadout can be safely completed.

Also beginning at 8 a.m.:

• Quorum Drive from Morris Avenue to Arapaho Road will close.
• Northbound Quorum Drive from Edwin Lewis Drive to Arapaho Road will close.
• McEntire Place from Quorum Drive to Lewis Place will close.

These streets are expected to reopen by 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, or as soon as guests have safely exited the event area.
