The largest pickleball event in the world is set to make a triumphant return to North Texas this fall and now is the opportunity to secure your spot to play or attend.
The Pickleball World Championships will take place for the fourth consecutive year at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch, Texas.
In the largest gathering of the pickleball community the world has ever seen, the week-long Pickleball World Championships will also play host to a Major League Pickleball event, the College Pickleball World Championships, and the PPA Challenger Showdown tournaments.
The 2025 edition shattered numerous records, becoming the benchmark for fan attendance, and amateur participation. The week saw over 60,000 fans flood Pickleball Boulevard, the fan-centric heartbeat of the Pickleball World Championships. Nearly all 50 states were represented in the amateur competition ranks, which saw a record 4,400 total participants, including players from 38 countries competing in more than 6,000 matches throughout the week.
“We are so excited to bring our biggest and most iconic event back to Brookhaven Country Club this fall as the Pickleball World Championships returns to North Texas,” said Connor Pardoe, Founder & CEO of the Carvana PPA Tour. “Last year saw professional pickleball’s greatest tournament ever as a record-setting crowd was on hand to witness the best players in the world at the Carvana PPA Tour’s 100th tournament. With the sport continuing to grow in popularity at an unprecedented pace, we expect the 2026 edition of the Pickleball World Championships to build further on the incredibly high benchmark set by last year’s success.”
Last year’s Pickleball World Championships was the Carvana PPA Tour’s 100th tournament, and delivered some of the most electric, emotional, and historic pickleball ever seen.
Argentine superstar Federico Staksrud and Hayden Patriquin, the fastest hands in the game, won the men’s doubles world championship, upsetting heavy favorites and World No. 1’s Ben Johns and Gabe Tardio. Staksrud went on to claim the men’s singles title later on Championship Sunday.
The week culminated with pickleball’s biggest star, 19-year-old Anna Leigh Waters, earning a triple crown victory (gold in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles) en route to becoming the winningest player in pickleball history.
In addition to the electric pickleball action, the Pickleball World Championships plays host to concerts, performances, and diverse food and fare options throughout the week. 2025 saw Nashville-based contemporary singer-songwriter Mat Kearney headline a stacked concert lineup.
This year, the concert stage will host an even more jam-packed, star-studded lineup of entertainment for fans of all ages to enjoy. More information to be announced at a later date.
