On Saturday, April 27, the City of Farmers Branch hosted its annual Fishin' Fun event at Gussie Field Watterworth Park. The free event, designed for children under 16, was open to residents and non-residents. Trophies and prizes were handed out based on age categories and the event boasted of several family-friendly activities in addition to fishing.
