Everyone has a story to tell

Thirteen authors came together to share their stories and launch their book on Jan. 17 at Farmers Branch Manske Library.

The launch of "Arras: A Tapestry of Prose and Poetry" represents friendship, creativity and the support of the community. Personal essays, memoirs and poems make up the anthology, which came as a result of two writing groups, Tale Spinners and Word Weavers, who have gathered monthly at Manske Library in Farmers Branch for three years to share prose and poetry.
