Donations needed for clothing closets, food pantries

Dallas College's Clothing Closets are seeking donations of suits, dresses, shirts, pants, shoes and more. Students can shop once a month for free. Community may also shop the clothing closets on Fridays.

Dallas College Clothing Closets, just like the college's food pantries, are open to everyone (not just students) most FRIDAYS. Shop for suits or dresses, shirts, pants, ties, shoes and more.

DONATIONS are needed and welcome!

* Coats and jackets for men, women and children

* Men’s shoes and clothing

* NO toys, bedding, housewares or household items, please

Students can shop once a month for free. Receive a complete outfit or up to five items each visit (suit or dress, shirt, pants, tie, shoes) for new varieties of outfits. Just show your student ID.

Community members may also shop our clothing closets on "Community Pantry Days," which occur 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on most Fridays. Please note: El Centro Campus does not participate in Community Pantry Days.

Located on eight of Dallas College’s campuses and open five days a week during select hours, you can drop in and browse our selection of new and gently used casual and business attire. Women’s, men’s and children’s clothing are available, along with accessories and shoes.
