Chamber partners with Common Ground USA to host 'Together We Dine'

Event promotes dialogue and understanding across divides

On June 29, 2026, Metrocrest Area Chamber in partnership with Common Ground USA–Texas, and Project Unity will host a Together We Dine event at the Dallas College Brookhaven Campus in Farmers Branch, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds for meaningful conversations over a shared meal.

Opportunities to connect and understand each other are invaluable. This gathering will allow participants to share personal experiences, hear differing perspectives, and recognize the common ground they share. Through facilitated discussions led by trained moderators, attendees will explore issues related to political polarization and societal divisions - all with the aim of fostering a better understanding and creating stronger community bonds.

Together We Dine is part of Common Ground USA’s ongoing efforts to lower the temperature of political division and promote civil discourse through events, training, and community engagement. This experience is designed to demonstrate that what unites us is greater than what divides us.
