The Town of Addison is inviting residents who are currently serving or have served in the United States Armed Forces to participate in a Hometown Heroes art exhibit at Town Hall this July.
Addison residents interested in participating should submit the following to marketing@addisontx.gov by June 29 to be included:
The exhibit will recognize the service and sacrifice of members of Addison's military community throughout the month of July.

The Addison Marketing & Tourism team recently brought home three awards from the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) Conference in Austin. The Town earned top honors in the Special Publications category for its new Visitors Guideand received second-place awards for two social media campaigns: the ASMR Silver Line video, which generated more than 100,000 views, and the Fire Department Recruiting reel, which had more than 293,000 views.
Tourism Marketing Manager Amber Patterson managed the new Visitors Guide, and Marketing Specialist Kaitlin McFarlain created the two award-winning social media campaigns. The awards recognize excellence in municipal communications and highlight the team's creative efforts to promote Addison as a destination while engaging residents, visitors, and potential employees.
